Marinated Mushrooms

  • 4 oz Moore's Original Marinade
  • 1 8-oz package fresh mushrooms
  • 1 medium clove garlic minced
  • 2 tbsp green onion finely chopped
  • 2 tsp fresh jalapeño peppers seeded and minced
  • 3 small strips lemon rind yellow portions only


  1. Wipe the mushrooms with a clean, damp cloth, and cut into quarters.
  2. Marinate for 30 minutes.
  3. In a shallow bowl, combine the remaining ingredients and mix well.
  4. Toss the mushrooms in the mixture to coat evenly.
  5. Cover and refrigerate, stirring occasionally, for several hours or overnight.
  6. Remove the mushrooms from the marinade.
  7. Discard the marinade and serve the mushrooms cold.
  8. Makes 8 servings of approximately 3 mushrooms each.
