Moore's Original Carbonara

A creamy and buttery pasta garnished with bacon, peas and parmesan.

  • 8 pieces of bacon, chopped
  • 1 cup Moore's Original Marinade
  • 12 oz pasta, any kind
  • 1/2 cup peas (fresh, canned or frozen)
  • 1/2 medium onion, diced
  • 1 tsp garlic, minced
  • 3 eggs
  • 3/4 cups parmesan, grated
  • 3/4 cups heavy cream
  • salt and pepper to taste


  1. Marinate bacon in Moore's Original Marinade for 30 minutes.
  2. Cook pasta as directed on package.
  3. Cook peas according to package instructions.
  4. Fry the bacon until crisp and drain on paper towels.
  5. Pour out bacon grease, but don't clean the pan.
  6. Heat on medium-low and sauté onions and garlic until golden brown.
  7. In a bowl, mix eggs, parmesan, cream, salt and pepper.
  8. When the pasta is done, set aside one cup of the pasta water.
  9. Drain pasta and pour into a bowl. Slowly drizzle in the egg mixture while stirring the hot pasta until thick and creamy.
  10. Stir in peas, bacon and sauteéd onion and garlic.
  11. Serve.
