Ingredients
-
1 Large yellow onion
-
1 cup buttermilk
-
1/2 cup Moore's Blue Cheese Buffalo Wing Sauce
-
1 cup all purpose flour
-
1 tablespoon hot smoked paprika
-
2 Large eggs (beaten)
-
1 tablespoon Moore's Blue Cheese Buffalo Wing Sauce
-
1 cup panko bread crumbs
-
1/2 cup italian seasoned bread crumbs
Instructions
|
1. Cut the onion into rings, about 1/4-1/2 inch thick. Separate the rings. In a large bowl, mix the buttermilk and 1/2 cup of wing sauce. Add the onions and stir to coat. Allow to chill in the fridge for a minimum of 2 hours, stirring every half hour.

2. Preheat oven to 450 degrees. In coating tray or a plate, add the flour and paprika. In a bowl, add the eggs and 1 Tablespoon Moore's Buffalo Blue Cheese Sauce. Mix together. In another coating tray or on a plate, mix the panko with the bread crumbs. |
|
3. Working in small batches, take a few rings out of the bowl, shaking off excess liquid. Dredge in flour. Then dip into the egg mix, coating the rings. Then coat with the panko/bread crumb mix. Place the rings on a cookie sheet sprayed with cooking spray. See the video below for a demonstration. |
|
4. Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes depending on how thick you sliced them. Flip at the halfway mark and spritz with cooking spray. Serve with Blue Cheese Dip. |
