Sauteed Chicken Livers

  • 1 ½ lbs chicken livers
  • 2 tbsp peanut oil
  • 1 onion peeled and diced
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 lb seasonal greens
  • a splash of water
  • ½ tbsp Moore's Original Marinade


  1. Heat oil to medium heat. Sauté onions for 4-5 minutes until soft but not brown.
  2. Add greens (cooking times vary depending on type). Add water.
  3. Season liver with salt and pepper. Sauté liver in clarified butter. It is almost done when you press on it and it gives you some resistance.
  4. Serve livers over cooked greens.
