Craveable Comfort Foods
Today is National Comfort Food Day, which means you have a free pass to indulge in your favorite comforting and satisfying dish no matter how unhealthy it is. A wise cookbook author named Norman Kolpas once said, “Food, like a loving touch or a glimpse of divine power, has that ability to comfort,” and we at Moore’s Marinades and Sauces couldn’t agree more. We believe there’s not much that a delicious, home-cooked meal with a little #MooreFlavor can’t fix.
For many of us, this means something warm, carb-filled, cheesy and meaty. From meatball sliders to a bowl of chili, Moore’s has plenty of comforting recipes to choose from. Can’t decide what you’re craving? Cook up one of our favorite comfort foods for a cozy night in:
Ingredients:
2 pounds Ground Chicken
2 cups Moore's Honey BBQ Sauce

1/2 cup Moore's Blue Cheese Buffalo Wing Sauce
1/2 Tbsp. Jalapeno Pepper, diced
1/2 cup Mushrooms, diced
1/4 cup Onion, diced
1 Tbsp. Thyme
1 Tbsp. Parsley
1 Egg
2 Tbsp. Sun Dried Tomatoes, diced
1/4 Cabbage, shredded
8 oz. Pineapple Juice
1 Tbsp. Mayonnaise
1 Package of Slider Rolls
Instructions:

Combine shredded cabbage with sun dried tomatoes, mayonnaise and pineapple juice in a medium bowl. Refrigerate to chill mixture.

In a large bowl, combine chicken, Moore's Blue Cheese Buffalo Wing Sauce, jalapeno peppers, mushrooms, onion, thyme, parsley and egg. Mix well.

Form balls with approx. 4 oz. of chicken mixture. (Size can vary upon preference). Place balls on a baking sheet and bake at 350 degrees until the meatballs reach an internal temperature of 165 degrees. (Approx. 30 minutes).

Open slider rolls and lightly toast.

After baking, dip each meatball in Moore's Honey BBQ Sauce.

Drain cabbage mixture and then place a small portion of the cabbage mixture on each bottom slider roll.

Top with chicken meatballs and drizzle Moore's Honey BBQ Sauce over before topping with slider bun.
Ingredients:
2 lbs. ground beef
1 cup Moore's Original Marinade
1 cup onions, chopped
3/4 cup green peppers, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
1 (16oz.) can kidney beans, drained
1 (16oz.) can whole tomatoes, drained and chopped
1 (16oz.) can tomato sauce
1 (4oz.) can green chilis
2 Tbsp. chili powder
2 tsp. cumin
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. dried basil
Shredded cheddar, sour cream, crackers or cornbread (optional)

Ingredients:
6 Strips of Bacon

1 1/2 Tbsp. Moore's Original Marinade
4 Slices Bread
4 Slices Cheddar Cheese
1/3 Stick Butter, melted
Instructions:

Place bacon strips in a shallow bowl and pour 1 Tbsp. Moore's Original Marinade on top. Marinate for 5 minutes.

Remove bacon and discard marinade.

Fry bacon until crisp. Set aside.

Place 2 slices of cheddar cheese on a slice of bread. Add 3 slices of bacon. Top with another slice of bread.

Combine melted butter with 1/2 Tbsp. Moore's Original Marinade and brush on both sides of the sandwich.

Grill in a skillet or griddle pan until cheese is melted.
Ingredients: 
½ of 16-ounce box rotini noodles
1 lb. chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
Salt
Pepper
Garlic
Italian Seasoning
Coconut oil or olive oil
¾ bottle Moore's Creamy Ranch Buffalo Sauce
1 jar (about 15-ounce) prepared alfredo sauce
1 cup mozzarella cheese
Instructions:

Bring a pot of water to a boil.

Cook noodles.

While noodles are cooking, heat oil of choice in a skillet pan.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Season bite-sized chicken in salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Cook until no pink remains.

Pour buffalo sauce and alfredo sauce into the pan with the chicken.

Combine with noodles and ½ cup of cheese.

Pour into a baking dish (8x8). If you have an oven-proof baking skillet, you can use that as well.

Cover with remaining cheese.

Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until cheese is nice and bubbly!
